The Export Production Zones Authority (EPZA) has commended the economic diplomacy of the President of Tanzania H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan to be the catalyst to attract investors in the world. In a meeting with members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, EPZA Director General Mr. Charles Itembe explained that currently Tanzania is the gateway for producers targeting the African and International markets.

He assured the delegation of the safety of their projects and stressed that Tanzania's participation in the AfCFTA provides an opportunity for Tanzanian products to access the African market duty free for products produced in Special Economic Zones.

Along with strategic projects of Special Economic Zones such as Bagamoyo, Dodoma, Tanga, Kwala, Kigoma and others; EPZA invites the private sector to invest in the industrial sector.

The delegates, led by the President of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Mohammad Ali Lootah, hailed the rapidly growing business relationship, which is now worth US$ 2.7 billion, and have come to inquire about other economic opportunities available in Tanzania through the Zones. Special Economic.
