Government announces incentives for investors.

The Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Philip Mpango, has said that the Sixth Phase Government will continue to improve the business and investment environment in the country including strengthening the security, peace and security situation and improving the tax system.

Hon. Dr. Mpango said this while opening the 2025 Tax and Investment Conference being held at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam.

He urged participants of the Conference to focus on generating new ideas and strategies that will enable the Nation to move forward.

In addition, EPZA, as a major stakeholder in investment issues, participated in the conference represented by experts, led by the Director General of the EPZ Authority, Mr. Charles Itembe. The purpose of the participation is to maintain and continue with the Government's instructions in providing services to investors and continue to improve service in order to enhence the Government's goal of achieving its industrial economy goals.
