EPZA Participation in the Dubai EXPO 2020 Exhibition.

The Authority was represented by it's Director General of EPZA, Mr. Charles Itembe (fourth from right), with as mission of showing investment opportunities through the industrial in Tanzania. During the visit, EPZA met with representatives from various companies that expressed interest on investing in the manufacturing sector under Special Economic Zones program in the country.

Over years now, EPZA has attracted many industrial projects on different sectors from Textiles, Agro-processing, Banking and Sim Cards, Meat Processing and Mineral Processing, whereby, more than 80% of the products are exported. Through EPZA programs, there has been an increase in number of Manufacturers, Foreign Exchange earnings, an increase in employment opportunities and the attraction of new technologies.
