Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) is a government institution that manages and encourages investment in Tanzania's Special Economic Zones. EPZA has registered many industrial projects in the country, one of which is DZ Cards Tanzania Ltd, a factory that produces Visa Cards, Master Cards, Sim Cards and Scratch Vouchers. On 8 September 2022, the Permanent Secretary from the Ministry of Information, Communication and Information Technology Dr. Jim James Yonazi made a business visit to this high tech factory which is located in one of the Special Economic Zone in Dar es Salaam, namely Benjamin William Mkapa Special Economic Zone and witnessed various activities going on in the factory.

Hon. Dr. Jim Yonazi said that this factory puts Tanzania on the map of the world industrial technology, thus giving confidence to other investors of the same caliber to come and invest in the country. Hon. Dr. Jim Yonazi and his delegation ware hosted by the Director of Investment Promotion and Facilitation, Mr. James Maziku who insisted that EPZA is highly inviting DDI and FDI to consider investing in different SEZ in Tanzania because the institution has planned to ensure that the Institution is practically executing the concept of Industrial Economy which is implemented by H.E President of the United Republic of Tanzania.
