The EPZA authority has participated as one of the speakers in the panel of the Investment and Trade Conference between Tanzania and Italy which is ongoing at JNICC today - Dar es Salaam.

This forum has enabled many investors from Europe, especially Italy, to come and experience investment opportunities in various sectors of agriculture, medicine, leather, technology, etc. They also provide support for various projects.

The government has decided to invest more in SEZ to get quick and reliable results.

EPZA has also participated in a round table and B2B dialogue between Italian investors, Tanzanian companies and Government Investment Facilitators.

Companies from Italy believe that Tanzania is a safer place for investment than many countries in the world, so they will participate in many projects because they would like to continue investing more.

It is the institution's expectation that, after the forum, investors from Italy and other European companies will submit a business plan for the interest of investing in Tanzania.
