Minister for Investment, Industry and Trade, Hon. Dkt. Ashatu K. Kijaji visited factories in Coast Region. During the visit, she was accompanied by the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Investment Mr. Ally Gugu along with EPZA Director General Mr. Charles J. Itembe.

One of the areas visited was Bagamoyo Special Economic Zone, where the Minister met few factories including Tanfroz Factory - Meat Processing and Phiss Tannery Co. Ltd - Skin Processing Factory. During the visit, the Hon. Minister assured investors that, under the administration of the current President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan, the business environment will be continuously improved and agued them to increase their investment capacity because Tanzania is blessed by enough Raw materials, Competitive Labour and Sounded by Huge potential Market.
