RESIDENT PERMITS

RESIDENCE PERMIT

A non-citizen shall not reside in Tanzania unless he has obtained residence permit Class A for investor and Class B for employee issued by Immigration Services Department. Investors may apply for work permits through the website: www.immigration.go.tz

The following are documents to be accompanied with application for Residence permit Class A:

Certified Work Permit
Application letter
Dependants birth certificate/Marriage certificate/Copy of Passport
Immigration status
Police loss report (In case of loss)
A copy and original residence permit in case of renewal
A copy of passport
Annual Return Form No. 128 (BRELA) plus Status letter from BRELA
Pilot license for Pilots
Sectoral Approval letter (i.e. CRB, TFDA, etc)
VAT
TIN
Tourism license (TALA) for tour operators company)
Copy of EPZ license
Lease agreement/Title Deed
Organization chart
Certificate of change of Name
Certificate of Incorporation/Compliance
Memorandum & Article of Association
Transfer of shares (Where needed)
Return of Allotment of Shares Form No.55(a) (BRELA)(Where needed)
Board Resolution (Where needed)

Cost for Residence Permit Class A:

USD 3050
USD 1550 For East African citizens
USD1000 for Diaspora investors.
USD 50 for each dependant
Facilitation fee is paid to EPZA after getting approval

Certified Work Permit
Application letter channelled to Commissioner General of Immigration
Dependants birth certificate/Marriage certificate/Copy of Passport
Immigration status
Police loss report (In case of loss)
A copy and original residence permit in case of renewal
Curriculum vitae (CV)
Copy of passport
Pilot license for Pilots
Sectoral Approval letter (i.e. CRB,TFDA,ETC)
VAT
TIN
Tourism license (TALA) for tour operators company)
Copy of EPZ license
Lease agreement/Title Deed
Organization chart
Valid business license
Certificate of change of Name
Certificate of Incorporation/Compliance
Memorandum & Article of Association

USD 550 For East African citizen
USD 50 for each dependant.
