The Director General of the Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) Mr. Charles Itembe with a team of experts from the EPZ Authority, have held a meeting with experts from the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) at the TRA offices in Dar es Salaam on February 6, 2025. The agenda was to improve further cooperation between the two institutions. Among other things, the session discussed the investment situation in Special Economic Zones as well as setting strategies to increase cooperation in improving efficiency and going with the speed of Hon. President of the sixth phase in building Tanzania's industrial economy. Speaking after the meeting, the Director General of EPZA said that EPZA and TRA have been working in great cooperation, and rely on each other in their daily activities, that is why TRA has an office inside the EPZ Authority building to serve investors quickly and efficiently. In addition, the Director General added that following today's session, investors should expect better and faster services from these two institutions
